Alive! conducts interactive activity sessions which help stimulate care home residents on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. See our workshops page for more information.

We also run regular training courses for care home staff in presenting interactive workshops for people living in residential care. See our training courses page for details.

We are also working on the following related projects:

iMemory

A project in partnership with Hereford PCT, Age Concern Hereford & Localities, Hereford S.A Photographic Club and Sure Care Services.

We have been using iPad technology since May 2010 to help care home residents compile their life stories as well as enabling them to access reminiscence materials via the internet and unleash their creative potential using apps for painting pictures or making music on the touch screen. We are encouraging Care Homes, Hospitals, other Charities and Local Authorities to purchase an iPad and join our initiative. The University of Worcester have recently completed a 6 month study of our work which will be published in late January 2012.
