Alison Fitzjohn
Although Alison is an actress she feels it is not dramatic to say that her time with Alive! is life changing. The power and impact that the Alive! sessions have on residents is remarkable and to be able to see the effects of bringing some sunshine and fun into a home has made her realise just how important this charity is. Alison feels honoured to meet all the wonderful, colourful individual characters and feels her life has been enriched by hearing past stories and dancing with everyone! Seeing an individual sat hunched over not wanting to communicate progress to sitting upright singing, dancing and tapping a tambourine along with some lively music makes her realise how valuable the work is.
